Spring Fever

January was a month of illness in our home ~ glad to report we all survived!
Lots of book reading to pass the time- l am on my fourth book of the Outlander series- great adventure story with a dash of history and romance thrown in for good measure.
Thank you for the well wishes and kind e-mails sent. Thanks also to Tammy for recommending this set of books.

This past weekend we had good weather so set to work on the new front driveway. We have changed things about much and have purposefully raised our flowerbed edgings to accommodate the extra soil that is being dug out (by hand) for the drive itself. As well as the design changes for the front structure of driveway/garden l have started some seed trays to aid my feelings of restlessness and excitement brought on by the coming of Spring.
Bests all.

“You get spring fever being in this house. Every room has a view outside.”

Oh Horizon, what a relief to hear everything is alright with you and your dear family. Not to underplay that feeling under the weather with colds isn't enough. I just am thrilled to see you post again. Did you see that you were nominated for a blog award, best blog writer! Congratulations! :) Well, take care, cute picture of Sam too!

There you are! I'm happy to see you posting. You've been missed dear friend.
I'm going to have to check out that series at the library. Glad you've all recovered and hope you'll stay well now. The bugs are running rampant in our school too. The colder weather will hopefully kill some of them off and keep them in check. We're having a snow day today, although it's more for the extreme cold than the snow.
Love that picture of wee Sam in the snow, and the sunset is glorious.
Good luck with your driveway project.
You have spring fever, we have cabin fever!

Horizon,
The heading of your blog states that it's not for any one person but where ever the currents take it. They brought it all the way to south Georgia in the USA.
It is a pleasure to read about Scotland. My husband's relatives came from Scotland.
The pictures are wonderful.
