I learned that poem at school MANY yrs ago What if we have no time to stare. It is a good one. Good luck with the wine making, and all the very best for the biopsy - I pray it will be nothing. Thank you so much for the mention in your blog and for the many lovely comments on Peter's updates and for the
waving frantically over the ocean.
Peter lives about 1000 miles from me in Queensland but we are very close. I hope his Bells Palsy soon passes as the right side of his face is paralysed and he has trouble eating and drinking. It was
great to get home at last after 4 weeks plus. I was so sick for half of that and then Rehab. So glad to be better and back with my dear blogging friends who mean so much to me. I thank you most sincerely for your caring and concern, love
ad prayers dear friend. Much Love, Merle.Merlehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/05763778255535640633noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-25007044.post-61607471115652947372011-05-18T03:49:31.307+01:002011-05-18T03:49:31.307+01:00Our weather sounds much like yours with a few spel...Our weather sounds much like yours with a few spells of sunshine between the rainy days. Last week was beautiful, but here we are back to clouds, rain and cool temps this week.
Happy belated birthday to your hubby. What nice birthday presents! May he make some delightful wines :)
My hubby's is coming up this Saturday. We appreciate your good wishes. His recovery is much slower than we'd like but we're thankful for each little bit of progress.
I pray your biopsy will have good results, dear Sarah. Life is full of ups and downs, isn't it?
I know what you mean about the chaotic crescendo. It can happen so fast, especially at this time of year. At least the lack of good weather lets us get some cleanup done.
When the sun returns our gardens will be calling :)
Sounds like you had a lovely trip to Cornwall to see your Dad. You have such fascinating history in Scotland, with wonderful old buildings and historical sights.Kerrihttps://www.blogger.com/profile/18362584475435433892noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-25007044.post-5537061784658188392011-05-17T15:27:50.938+01:002011-05-17T15:27:50.938+01:00Thanks for the good wishes both.

It certainly has been rough going with the sinus and ear infections, as well as a nagging cough but considering what some people are going through, I'm not going to complain anymore:-)

We're getting plenty of sunshine these days but the temperatures have been chilly. It's supposed to start warming up by tomorrow...woohoo! lol I haven't been able to do anything with my faerie garden so hopefully I can get at it soon. Not really safe to plant anything until at least the first week of June.

Happy belated Birthday to Gerald:-) Sounds like he had a really fun day of shopping. Is it beer or wine that he'll be making? My dad used to make choke cherry wine as well as dandelion wine. When he passed away there was only 1 bottle left and mom gave it to my husband. One night he and a friend from across the street got into it and it sure was powerful, they had quite the hangover the next day! lol I didn't drink wine at the time, now I'll have the odd glass of white wine:-)

Such wonderful news about Merle being home again, I have so much catching up to do since I didn't visit any blogs for over a week. I'm hoping that Connie's knee surgery works this time, the first time it never recovered the way it should have.

The very best of luck with the biopsy, my friend. I know how nerve wracking it is to wait for a result but I'm praying that you will have good news!!! Sending you big hugs. xoxoCarole Buranthttps://www.blogger.com/profile/05497329055251626140noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-25007044.post-24606842308138876302011-05-17T01:43:19.033+01:002011-05-17T01:43:19.033+01:00Now that explains why you're MIA from the blog...Now that explains why you're MIA from the blogworld. I hope all will go well. One thing I like is the garage sale I always hear about in overseas..it's not something we do hear and it will be good if we can do that I think..to think of the baby stuffs I still have gathering dust here when somebody else might be needing them..Hugs to you Sarah; I wish all our friends well too.HLizahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/04501423875033391870noreply@blogger.com
