Diagnosis: Paralysis by Analysis

Symptom: You’re looking for work. Find two places, hand in CVs, go for interviews, hear nothing and then suddenly on the same day get offered work at both!

THINK… l’d love to be able to ‘marry’ both these (part-time) jobs together. Unfortunately FIND… they both require hours on a Friday.

So now l have Paralysis by Analysis- utterly bogged down in details. Nicest atmosphere? Strongest personalities? Hourly wage? Permanency?

DECISION: Church or Council? Now there’s a choice!
Service often overlong – service often under par!
free music

Kate Rusby is a British folk singer who comes from Yorkshire tha'knows. l have many of her CDs and would love to go and see her in Concert.

That's often the way things work out! I'm sure that you'll find that one of these offers something "extra" that sways you, or perhaps it will be neither of them!

Oooooh, Sarah...I'm so glad I have a computer with speakers in them now, as well as enough 'oomph' in it to play You Tubes on here, haha! I loved Kate Rusby...I'm going to have to look up on Amazon here and see if I can find some of her CDs. Good luck in deciding on which job to take, but I'm thrilled to hear you have job opportunities awaiting you! It will help SO much, your emotional feelings right now. I took my job as a dinner lady with the schools when my son was in high school and it was a wonderful one...I had every holiday and vacation time off that he did so in his eyes it was like I wasn't even working at all! Hope this finds you well, darlin' girl. (((((HUG)))))

well done on the job hunting!
love the music clip.
I meant to come down and have a paddle round the QE2 but forgot and I'm not sure my shoulder is up to it yet anyway. it would have been nice to see her.

Congratulations on having two opportunities. It seems opportunities often come in pairs.

I always find creating a plus and minus list helpful in making up my mind.

Think time, money, working environment, commute time, socialization at work (who do you spend your day with), focus of skill sets toward future goals.

Good luck to you.

I enjoyed Kate's voice and music. I've always loved folk singing. I was a huge Peter, Paul and Mary fan way back when.
Thanks for sharing that.
I'm smiling about the title of this post :)
