Last night for Halloween hubby and l were busy helping out at the school fancy dress Disco. Our wee 'S' dressed up as the famous Time Lord and Adventurer, Dr. Who. 'S' takes his role as Dr. Who very seriously and has done for quite some time, modelling himself on the Scottish actor (currently playing the role of the Doctor), David Tennant. He pulls the same faces and poses, talking as if he is in fact the real Doctor - a true fan.
During the summer we made S his own Tardis (time machine & spacecraft) - to see it LINK HERE.
This past May at the Chelsea Flower Show there was a display called, 'A Garden in Time' using the theme of Dr. Who.
" Cardiff County Council will create A Garden in Time feature celebrating one of the region’s most successful recent exports, Doctor Who, which is made by BBC Wales and filmed extensively in Cardiff. The garden will feature the Tardis as the centrepiece of the dual garden contrasting a typical 1960s urban garden (when Doctor Who was first on our screens) with a modern day garden emphasising an awareness of sustainability, recycling and climate change."
Talking about recycling and space travel, just before going out last night l made myself a giant broomstick (to compliment my Witch outfit) from the dried up grasses in the garden. l won't tell you what hubby's comment was about that!-lol.
Hope you all had a great Halloween.
Bests for now.

Wee 'S' makes a very convincing Dr. Who. I'd love to see and hear him in action :) I hope you can keep him pinned down to one time zone for a while! It's hard enough to keep up with the kids, but to have to chase them through different time zones...well, that would be just too much! LOL
Do we get to see a picture of you with your giant broomstick?
Love that pumpkin :)
Great pictures of "S" dressed up as Dr. Who. Hope it was a fun Halloween!

Hi, I have a nephew in Melbourne who runs a DR Who fan club, I must say he is not a little boy any longer. Far from it. He has all the original Dr who series.
I used to be a fan watching with my children when they were small.
Cheers and Hugs Margaret
I sure could have used a broom on Halloween...mine was out being repaired.lol Sounds like you had a good night.
Take care,
Connie
Looks like wee Sam had a great Halloween!
Have a great day!
Hello, dear Sarah! So nice to see a couple of new posts on my visit here! Amazing how even part time jobs can fill up our time, isn't it?? I know I think I'm busy taking care of one wee grandson...what will it be like when it's two?!? Oh well. I'll get to whatever needs done when I can, even blogging, ha! Hope this finds you well. We always have quiet Halloween's here in our neighborhood...it's a rather dark street we live on, so it's mostly kids from around the neighborhood who drop by. Good thing, because Dear Hubby is starting work at 3:30 am a lot of the time and is in bed around 6 pm or so! Take care! ((((((HUGS))))))
Sounds like you guys had fun. You must be the most friendly-looking witch ever!
