The kitchen now

As promised: some pictures of the kitchen. So glad to see it finished.
My husband is busy at the moment cooking up a Sunday roast dinner- that's me having the before dinner drink- LOL.
I'm just exhausted but glad to have my sister over with her children. Today they have all gone a drive with my brother up to Stirling to visit the castle and theWallace monument ~ l am enjoying a wee break. Bests to you all.

Lovely Kitchen - I like the mandonlin on the wall too - can you play??
You've used my favourite red too!! You probably already know this - but red is the best colour for a kitchen/dining room because it stimulates the appetite apparently - or at least that was my flatmate's reasoning at uni for painting our kitchen bright red!
I'm envious of your new kitchen but I'm MOST envious of the fact your hubby can cook a roast - mine burns water!! But he is a dab hand at washing up so I can't complain really.
Enjoy

Beautiful, Horizon. This dark colour in the kitchen, is it ochsblood? We want to paint the livingroom in dark red this winter, but it is difficult, I need more light than.
