Because laughter really is the best medicine

This photo makes me smile. It is of 'M' a few years back when we were visiting 'The Big Idea' (science centre) across the water.
'M' has just applied to do nursing and midwifery at university but here she is singing into the transducer used for the Obstetric Ultrasound! :)
As l have heard say, "Humour is a social lubricant that helps us get over some of the bad spots."
;)

Here is 'M' holding a baby (our 'S') - l can imagine that will be a fun ward! :)

'M' has a great sense of humour and a warmth that embraces you. I know that she will make a wonderful nurse and l am very proud of her.

I think if you have a sense of humor you can get through even the worst of times. My mother found silliness in everything and that will always be one of my fondest memories of her.

Best of luck to your sweet daughter.

Hugs,
Connie

These are such wonderful, happy photos Horizon. Just beautiful!
If Mel is anything like her mum, then she is indeed a wonderful girl!! (which I'm positive she is).
Yes, I'm sure she'll make a wonderful nurse. The very best of luck to her.

Beautiful smile. If I were sick, I'd love to see that sweet face.
My Mom was a nurse and my daughter in law is a PA (Physician's Assistant)
She wants to do midwifery someday.
(she had a home birth for our youngest granddaughter)
Good luck to your Mel...

It's a sad thing more of us don't have Melissa's attitude towards life, isn't it? It would surely make this world a more enjoyable place to live. I love the photo of her with wee Sam...bet that seems like yesterday, eh? Hope this finds you well, dear friend. It's rainy and cool here today but supposed to be a truly Spring-like day tomorrow with warm temps and sunshine. I'll believe it when I see it!!! And what was I just saying about more people having Melissa's attitude?! LOL! Have a wonderful weekend.

Hi , I am sure that your lovely daughter will be a great asset to the world of nursing, her body language projects that.
Loved the beautiful photos and the very artistic love heart.
Yes we do need to keep our sense of humour, I read this somewhere and was impressed with the idea."We don't stop laughing because we grow old, we grow old because we stop laughing".
Cheers Margaret
