Anyway- some garden photos from last few days attached and the job on the coal bunker done.

Hi Horizon ~~ Lovely photos of your flowers. I like penstemons and have grown them and petunias & Sweet William
I hope you enjoyed your garden day. Glad you liked the funeral joke. I did too.
I hate to tell you this, but you worry about your kids forever. Teens are hard, then you worry about their marriage
partners, their babies and ome divorces.
Being a Mum is a lifelong job. Thanks for your nice words. Love, Merle.

Such lovely flowers and so colourful!! There's nothing like getting down and dirty while doing gardening work...I usually have to take a shower right after! lol I may be a messy gardener but at least I'm not a messy cook! lol Hope your day is going well and you're enjoying the sunshine:-) xoxo

Thanks for your comment on my blog - your flowers are making me homesick!! Where in Scotland do you live? - Sorry I'd send an email but this library computer in Salt Lake City won't let me email you....
I'm going to check out your other blog too. Best Wishes, Kirsty

Victorian petunias, never heard. But they look so great. Do you have it from seed or bought in the Nursery?

Was just visiting your sister's blog, who'd stopped by and left a comment on mine! Mercy, you two are truly worlds apart, aren't you?! Not that I'm close to them by any means, outside of my baby brother, but my family has always been nearby...tho there are few of us. I've never been blessed with a sister...it was me and 3 brothers. I'm still a barefooted, incurable tomboy at age 52, haha! Hope you're having a lovely day, Horizon...do you live anywhere near St. Andrews? I have a young friend I met in chat 6 years ago who is my "honorary niece", originally from Kent but attending uni at St. Andrews. She'll be leaving soon for a year's study in the south of France. She's sent photos and postcards...it's a beautiful country you live in! We have Highland Games here in Portland every summer and my daughter is addicted to them...they were just held this past weekend and she's covered in sunburn from roasting under the sun. But she said those "hunky" Scotsmen are worth it, haha! ;-)
