Melissa and Samuel

Melissa is a typical teenager, full of angst and hormones but she has a wonderfully loving side too. This past weekend she made a pirate game with Sam and let him stick it all down with tape. He was so delighted with the result ~ especially the Parrot. Poor Randy (our Love bird) got himself into quite a flutter when Sam held it up to his cage. Melissa is so creative, a wonder at dressmaking and is sitting her Advanced Highers in Art this year ~ she is thinking about using the subject of American Indians ~ anyone out there with any ideas on what she could do?

Your daughter looks very creative. Most American Indian tribes specialized in a certain craft (basket weaving, beadwork, pottery, jewelry etc)
I would start with google, or the library. Good luck!

Hello Horizon ~~ You have some lovely looking kids, as well as talented.
Blogging does take up a lot of time, not only posting, but reading and commenting. I usually post every day, but this is my choice, some only post every few days or so. I suggest you do just as much as you want and don't feel compelled to do more. Glad you liked It's dark in here, it's a good one.I don't drive any more so try not to ask my son to get me extras.
Take care, Merle.

She should do tribal comparisons on what ever topic within the ar4ea she can get research material on. For example i have a book on the tribal differences in decoration of the tipi.
