What about the trapdoor leading to the mushroom farm? I thought the mushroom farm in the basement was your next project.

OK- There is a lot of walking space under my house- have thought about flooring it and adding some stairs down from the hall or dining room. Years back l was chatting to my brother about this option and somehow the idea of growing mushrooms came up (probably his idea!). For mushroom growing you need cold and dark. I was thinking of using the space as a study area or computer room- we'll see. Perhaps l could lock my brother down there- who would know? Sorry it wasn't more exciting-lol.
