Avalon by Holy Loch

I took my Mum for a drive to the garden centre today and on the way stopped to take some pictures for my old friend (the friend that l talked about a few posts earlier). This was her house by the Holy Loch where we would spend time together.
These photos are for you Stacy. The house has changed a little but not much and believe it or not, is up for sale! Interesting~ fancy moving?
These photos were all taken just as a thunderstorm was rolling its way up the Clyde- what a roar. Unfortunately l was driving and missed a great photo opportunity to capture the rain as it moved as a swath on the horizon.
I threw the camera at my poor mum who tried to get the photograph but ended up holding the camera the wrong way round in all the excitement ~ arghh! A great close up though –lol.

Hope your friend enjoys the pictures of her old house. Maybe she'll want to buy it?

Cool of ya' to take pics for your friend.

That house looks pretty cool I bet they are wanting a pretty penny for it.

Wouldn't that be awesome if your friend ended up buying the house? Sounds like you had a fun day with your mom and I had to laugh when you were telling us about her and the camera...sounds like my mom! lol

I could kick myself for not taking more photos when I was in Scotland.

I'm going to have to go back this Fall just to do this very thing.

The house is for sale? I take it - how much is it? ;-)
I like Britain very much in all Parts and most each year we take our holidays there.

Beautiful home and I bet the views are lovely, too. Is Avalon the name of the property? The farm I grew up on in Vic. Australia was also called Avalon. I don't know why Dad chose that name, nor do I know why Mum disliked the name so much.

How nice to do that for your friend. I'm laughing at your poor mum bumbling the camera in the haste of the moment :)
Lovely house. I'm sure it brings back cherished memories.
When I lived in Palm Beach, NSW, Australia, the next beach over was Avalon. I've always loved that name. It's so romantic.
