Scary or what?

An older gent with a wild eyed expression came flying around one of the bends far too fast- his passengers (ladies) looked terrified and so were we! Luckily we had been taking it easy and so he had a bit more time to break however things could have been a lot worse."

Could this be the same man?

I think you had a lucky escape from the Terror of Glen Lean! Did his passengers look like the photo above?!

HI horizon
Some drivers are always in a hurry to get were there going, without a thought for anyone or anything using the same road, that poor horse must have got the fright of its life. What is that Critter?

Sue- Sounds like it certainly got a real wallop- very sad.
As my granny used to say, "there's nae fool like an auld fool"

Sling- have no idea what that critter is-lol. We'll go with your guess, l guess ;) The photo was borrowed from google images- think they called it a 'bush critter'- perhaps Australia?

Val- May change my post title to the 'Terror of Glen Lean'-lol. Actually both the driver and the passengers looked like this critter.
Haven't heard from you in ages- hope you're keeping well :)

Jeanette- The lady from 'down under'! Was hoping you had perhaps seen this wee guy on your 'walk-abouts'? Keep a wary lookout! Trying to use your vernacular here:) lol

Not quite scary, must be "or what". It looks like some type of small bat. There certainly are some scary unthinking drivers around.
Cheers Margaret

Geezzzzz I sure wouldn't want to meet that critter in the dark...in broad daylight either!! What a scary looking face...now I'm gonna have nightmares!!!!! hehe We have a saying, it's so ugly it's cute...but it's still ugly in this case! lol Over here the elderly have to go for a driving test when they reach a certain age to make sure they should still be allowed on the road...some of them don't have the quick reactions sometimes needed while driving!! Hugs xox

lol- to Pea and Somershade- l think it would scare me in daylight too! xx

Love the suggestion from anonymous-LOL- brilliant!

Margaret.. you're not the first to have thought that.. a bat- the ears look right but still not sure.

I'm off to make popcorn for the kids.
The storms are going to hit around midnight- we have the candles and torch ready.
Keep well all xx

Hi Horizon ~ Scary little critter. Glad you and Sam had a good visit to the castle. Lve the photo of you and Sam. He looks like you. Glad you liked the quotes and jokes. I hope that bad storm didn't do too much damage. That horse was lucky not to be too injured. Take
care my friend, Love, Merle.

Ooooooh...I think your little fellow pictured here quite describes the mood I'm in lately, ha! My Dear Hubby recently hit a deer with his truck when he was out driving on some back roads...it came dashing out of the woods and BOOM! The deer kept on dashing thru the snow...Dear Hubby's truck got the brunt of the damage. Luckily it has a huge brush-guard across the grill -- I think that saved his truck and the deer from serious damage. Oh, and your hair?! I sleep with my head under one of my pillows -- thank goodness Dear Hubby loves me 'coz I look like I've spent the nite watching horror flicks, hahahaha!

I guess I forgot to comment on this one when I was here last. I'm quite speechless about the 'critter'! Poor tiny thing! I'm so glad you escaped the 'terror of glen Lean'. this is why it's so important to drive 'for the other person' while we're on the road!! Eeek!
